Coloff Media to pay $2,000 for shopping local

Coloff Media is paying listeners to shop our local retailers.

Coloff Media stations are encouraging listeners to keep their shopping in local communities this holiday season.  The company will award $2,000 to local residents for shopping local.  Listeners need to submit receipts from any local business in their area to be eligible to win.  The more receipts they turn in, the more entries they have to win part of the $2,000.  There is no purchase necessary to win, but the stations are encouraging everyone to support our local business community.

“Especially this year, with our local businesses struggling to get through the pandemic, we need to support our local businesses,” said Jim Coloff, company president.  “When we shop local, we support our schools, we build local roads, we employ our neighbors.  We keep our money in our community to make it a better place.  68% of the money you spend locally stays in our community.  Jamie Nelson of Mason City wanted to support our business partners, and put together a great plan to award people for shopping local.”

Radio stations participating in the Shop Local Campaign are KIOW – Forest City, KSMA – Mason City, KLKK – Mason City, KCHA-AM/FM – Charles City, KCZE – New Hampton.
